Pepper them!!!

...Too much information everywhere. The era of social media has thrown being discreet to the thrash. Private matters fly all over public domain. Everyone has an opinion, a voice and a story, but wisdom is a scarce commodity.

There is this burning urge to keep the world abreast of happenings in our lives, especially the "sweet ones". However, everything is picture perfect online. Stories are exaggerated, accounts are sugar coated, pictures are airbrushed...

So, the "pepper them" mentality grows. An average Nigerian wants to show that they are better than their neighbours, colleagues, etc; that they have it all. There's a silent competition going on. So, we always want to tell them, show them...

In my opinion, it's better to be mute than talkative. The problems of talking too much far outweigh those of not talking enough. Know where to draw the line. "My husband is the best ever. He did this......", "My boss trusts me, the key to the safe is with me......". Cho Cho Cho, too much talk. Some stories & pictures should not be for public consumption!

Many have used their mouths and keyboards to open up Pandora's box...
